Markie Post

Markie Post grew up in Walnut Creek, California and began her career with films and TV shows such as Card Sharks (1978) and "The New Card Sharks" (1986) and went on to even create projects such as Double Dare (1976) and she has appeared on TV shows as 1st to Die (2003), E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra Woman (2000). Her most memorable TV part was "Christine Sullivan" in Night Court (1984). The actress was on 156 episodes of this comedy from 1984 until 1992. Marylee (Armstrong) Post is her daughter. She was a poet and a well-known nuclear physical scientist Richard Freeman Post (November 14, 1918 to April 7 in 2015). Two daughters were born to her second husband Michael A. Ross: Katie Ross (born June 26 in 1987) and Daisy Ross (born March 30 and died on March 30, 1990). Born in Palo Alto in California and was raised in Walnut Creek. She was an athlete at Las Lomas High School, Walnut Creek, California. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lewis & Clark College, Portland Oregon. She was part of the trick roping team in The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). She was cremated and her remains were returned to Michael A. Ross. She was a lifelong Democrat. Markie Post died three months after her 71st birthday, on August 7 2021. She died 27 days after fellow Night Court (1984) co-star Charles Robinson, who passed died on July 11, 2021. Although the two shows were completely separate, Night Court (1984) ended in 1992 with her character Christine Sullivan, leaving for Washington DC, and Hearts Afire (1992) began later that year , with Post playing a new character Georgie, who was also a part of Washington DC (and later moving to a town that was smaller).
